ABOUT US

The Wool Pellet Mill

There is some sheep's wool that cannot be used in the clothing industry, for example belly wool, which is the shorter and often dirty wool found on the underside of a sheep. Our ambition is to use these wool parts as well. Through a shredding and pelletizing process, this wool can be turned into high-quality fertilizer.

Wool is a renewable and valuable raw material. You will be amazed at how many nutrients sheep's wool contains and how useful it can be.

More and more gardeners and farmers are turning to ecological slow-release fertilizers to achieve sustainable yields and improve soil quality. Sheep wool pellet fertilizer is a 100% organic fertilizer made from pure sheep wool, with no artificial additives.

With Atlantic Wool Pellets, gardeners and farmers are able to enjoy healthier plants and higher yields – all in harmony with nature.

Are sheep wool pellets suitable for organic farming?

Yes! Our pellets are made from 100% local, untreated sheep wool – without any additives. They are ideal for organic farming and gardening.

What is the best way to store sheep's wool pellets?

Store the pellets in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and animals.

Do sheep wool pellets smell unpleasant?

No, they have a natural, woolly smell. The smell disappears quickly once they have been worked        into the soil.

Suitable and unsuitable for which soils.

Pellets are great for sandy and clay soils, but do not use on plants that need acidic soil.

Why are your sheep wool pellets more expensive than products from discount stores?

Our sheep wool pellets stand for ethical sourcing, quality, and sustainability. The wool comes from gentle shearing of live sheep that are kept in a species-appropriate manner.

The higher price reflects the respectful treatment of animals and nature: from manual production and regional processing to fair remuneration for all involved. With our pellets, you are making a conscious decision to choose a high-quality natural product.
